Terrell “Mac” McIllwain graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Computer Science. Prior to AMS, he was a fighter jet avionics mechanic on the F-15 and the A-10 aircraft in the Air Force. After the military, he worked with his father at his family’s company servicing and calibrating precision GPS and optical equipment that land surveyors use to lay out buildings and subdivisions. Mac is originally from Manchester, TN, but moved to Florida when he was younger until he was 20. At that point, he joined the military where he was stationed in Alaska for four years, spent six months in Japan on a deployment, and had other temporary assignments throughout the U.S. After the military he moved back to Florida, but ultimately came back to Tennessee and attended school. In his free time, Mac enjoys golf, working on his 1969 Cutlass convertible, power lifting, and watching/attending sports games. He also enjoys computer games and is a decent pool player.
