Dr. Brian Moazen graduated from Tennessee Technological University with his Bachelor’s degree in Physics in 2004. Afterwards, he went on to earn a Ph.D. in Physics with a concentration in Experimental Nuclear Astrophysics from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in 2009. Prior to joining AMS, Brian was in nuclear physics research in the public and private sectors and most recently taught Physics, Robotics, and Computer Science at the Christian Academy of Knoxville. He is originally from Chattanooga, TN but came to Knoxville to attend graduate school and stayed in the area. In his free time, he enjoys playing guitar, backpacking, and spending time with his two kids.
