The 62nd IAEA General Conference was held in Vienna, Austria from September 17-21 2018. AMS also attended the U.S. Industry Side Event entitled, ‘U.S. Perspective on the Direction of Nuclear Energy Technology Development and Deployment in the United States and Globally.’
In addition to attending the conference, AMS met with representatives from several member state countries and co-hosted a reception for the U.S. industry and their clients.
Per the IAEA website, ‘over two thousand five hundred participants from 153 Member States were at the 62nd IAEA General Conference in Vienna, Austria. Important resolutions were adopted to further strengthen the IAEA’s work in nuclear science and technology, safety, security, safeguards and technical cooperation.’
