AMS Announces 2018 Training Course on the Testing and Troubleshooting of I&C Systems for Nuclear Facilities

This one-week-long master training course will be held August 20-24, 2018. The course is designed for utilities, vendors, educators, and regulators involved with nuclear power plants, research reactors, fuel fabrication facilities, national and international laboratories, and universities.

The course will present a comprehensive review of process instrumentation, in-situ techniques for testing the response time of process instruments, on-line calibration verification of sensors, reactor diagnostics, computer-aided testing, predictive maintenance, management of aging of process instrumentation, EMI/RFI troubleshooting, EMC qualification testing for nuclear power plants, cable condition monitoring, and more.

The course modules are taught by senior AMS engineers led by company president Dr. H.M. Hashemian. The instructors have between 10 and 30 years of experience and have worked in nuclear power plants worldwide. Click here to read more.
